Bulldog Bulletin May 18 to 22, 2026

From the Principal’s Desk:   Amazing news!  We raised $14,796.33 through the Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Campaign this year! The money will be used to purchase Special Education resources and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) resources for our school!  Thank you to everyone who promoted the campaign, donated their time to decorate cookies, and most of all purchased cookies, making this campaign a huge success!  Thank you to the Stroud Tim Horton’s for selecting our school as the beneficiary of the campaign again this year. Wishing everyone a wonderful long and sunny weekend!

Walk and Roll

The “Walk ‘N Roll” challenge starts on Tuesday, May 19th! Sunnybrae students will be challenged to take green transportation to school by walking, rolling, or riding the school bus to school!  Students can even participate by walking in the school yard when they arrive at school!

Walking, or rolling, to school has many benefits:

  • Healthier students are out getting exercise!
  • Fewer emissions = less air pollution
  • Safer school zones with fewer cars = healthier communities

Students will receive a card to track how many times they walk, roll, or take the bus to school. Plus, they can count when they walk on the playground before school starts! After they fill out their card, students will have it signed at home, and will receive a new one.  Each week, members of the Green Team will draw names to win a prize!  The challenge is on from May 19th to June 4th. Go Bulldogs!
