Bulldog Bulletin September 23rd to September 27th, 2024

Turnaround day is Tuesday September 24th.  We were fortunate that our staffing was not impacted but some of our split classes became straight grades and some of our straight grades became splits. This requires some of our students to move classes.  Teachers once again met and discussed the best placements for students based on strengths, needs and friendships.   If your child is changing classrooms, you will receive an email this evening to let you know who the new teacher will be.  Students will have time on Monday to move their belongings to their new classrooms before the Terry Fox Run. Thank you for your support as students adjust to the changes.

This Week:

Sept. 23rd: Terry Fox Run

Sept. 23rd: Grade 7 Immunizations forms due

Terry Fox Run-September 23rd

This year’s theme is “No Matter What”. No matter the obstacle, no matter the journey, no matter the odds. Our goal is $1500 don’t forget to make a donation by visiting the Sunnybrae Donation page at https://schools.terryfox.ca/SunnybraePSInnisfil which is available until September 30th. “Toonies for Terry” (paper shoes to be displayed in the foyer) may also be purchased. Bulldogs, let’s try like Terry and do our best….No Matter What!!

THANK YOU! For all the loonies that you have been sending in for our Terry Fox cancer donations.  The students have had lots of fun colouring in their paper shoes and our front foyer is looking very colourful.  Our run/walk in on Monday.  Huge thank you to Ms Lee who has given up most of her afternoon breaks to help collect money and organize the colouring.  Many years ago, Terry Fox inspired our nation with his run across Canada to raise money and awareness for cancer research.  Terry’s grit and resilience continues to inspire us today.  He is one of our true Canadian heroes.
