This year marks the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope, and our school is proud to take part and help Finish It! Please support our fundraising efforts and donate to https://schools.terryfox.ca/SunnybraePSInnisfil. @terryfoxfoundation. You can also purchase “Finish It” t-shirts through schoolcash online. Youth and adult sizes are listed and all sales count towards our fundraising goal. Also available are paper shoes to honour or remember loved ones who have battled cancer. Shoes can be purchased for $5 each and labelled with the name of your person through schoolcash online or students can purchase with cash at first break all next week. Red shoes are to honour those who have beat cancer and white shoes are to remember those who fought the tough battle. Thanks for donating, every dollar counts!

Sharing Information
- Volunteer Orientation on Monday, September 29th at 9:30 am. New volunteers must attend an orientation session before volunteering in the school.
- Tryouts for the junior girls' volleyball team and Intermediate girls’ basketball will begin next week. Tryouts will take place during the school day and students wanting to try out must have proper footwear to participate. We encourage all interested students to participate and showcase their skills. Parents and guardians are reminded to review the Ophea safety requirements ahead of tryouts to stay informed about any associated risks and help ensure a safe and positive experience for all. We are excited to offer this opportunity for students to get involved, build team spirit, and showcase their talents.
Safe Arrival system for SCDSB schools –email [email protected] or call 1-888-885-8065 or to report an absence (we recommend using the email system). Parents/guardians are responsible to report a child’s absence/arriving late prior to the start of the school day. Do not wait for the call from the school. Please note: the safe arrival number and email are to be used only to notify the school if your child will be late or absent. It is not for notification of changes in pick up, busing, etc.
