- April 16th: Junior Boys BBall game at Holy Cross CS (after school)
- April 16th: Intermediate Co-Ed Rugby game at Algonquin Ridge PS (after school)
- April 17th: Junior Boys BBall Mini tournament at Hewitt’s Creek PS (after school)
- April 17th: Junior Girls BBall Mini tournament at Hyde Park PS (after school)
- April 18th: Grade 7 Immunizations
- April 18th: Big Box Fundraiser pick up 3:30 to 5:00 pm.

Yard Sale (April 28th)-Vendors Wanted
DATE: Sunday, April 28, 2024
TIME: 10am- 2pm
LOCATION: Stroud Community Centre Arena , 7883 Yonge St.
- Give your unwanted items a second chance at love at our First Ever Sunnybrae Community Yard Sale, to be held at the Stroud Community Centre Arena parking lot!
- For a $20 fee, rent a space (two adjacent parking spots) to sell ANYTHING you want, for ANY PRICE! All money raised at your table is yours to keep! Vendors will need to bring their own table if needed.
- If you have items to get rid of but don’t want the bother of selling, you can DONATE them to our Sunnybrae Yard Sale Table! All money raised at this table will go towards much-needed technology at Sunnybrae Public School. No clothing, stuffed toys, or heavy furniture at the donation table, please.
Dental Screening
The dental unit is coming to Sunnybrae PS on May 2nd & 3rd to do dental screening for Kindergarten, Gr. 2, 4 & 7 students.
Tour for Humanity Student Workshops
The innovative, award-winning Tour for Humanity will be visiting Sunnybrae on April 22nd (grades 6-8) and May 3rd (grades 3-5). The Tour for Humanity is a 30-seat, wheelchair accessible, mobile human rights education centre designed to bring The Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center's programming directly to students and educators across Canada. The program incorporates multimedia to provide students with a rich and interactive learning experience. The students will be undertaking equity and diversity workshops for approximately one hour on the above mentioned days. We are looking forward to an enlightening experience! Student cost is $6 per person.
Mr. C’s Freeze-Dried Treats Fundraiser
Hey Bulldog Families! We are launching our next highly anticipated fundraising campaign in partnership with the amazingly popular Mr C’s Freeze-Dried Treats! They are offering their four most popular options for this fundraiser:
$10: 110g bag of The Regular Rainbow (Skittles)
$10: 110g bag of The Sour Rainbow (Sour Skittles)
$10: 110g bag of The Berry Rainbow (Berry Skittles)
$20: The Bestseller Pack (55g Skittles, 6 Jolly Ranchers, and 10 sour worms)
This is an excellent fundraising partnership for us because Mr. C offers an unusually high 50% share of total sales with the school! But to reach this goal, we need at least $2000 worth of participation within our school community. So please consider buying a few bags to enjoy, tuck away for birthday party loot bags, or give as guaranteed-hit gifts for the sweeties in your life!
The order deadline is Monday, April 15, and the treats will be delivered three weeks later (week of MAY 6).
