This Week at Sunnybrae PS – December 11 to 15, 2023
Principal’s Message: Thanks to Marisa Stroud, council secretary, for helping us complete the Canada Tree Grant in the hopes of accessing funds to purchase additional trees and shrubs for our yard. We should know sometime in March if we were successful. Students will be involved in the process of planning for and maintaining our new trees. Our Winter Concert is coming up which will feature music celebrating various holidays celebrated in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, due to limited space and our fire code, we are unable to offer an evening performance and must divide the concert into two parts for families to watch. Thank you to Mr. Hill for his work to organize and provide rehearsals for this exciting event.

- Dec 18th: Grade 2 Trip to Simcoe County Museum (Rescheduled)
- Dec. 18th: Purdy’s Chocolate Pick Up 3:30 to 5:00 pm
Holiday Food Drive
Christmas 4 Kids - This year Sunnybrae will be collecting food for Christmas 4 Kids again. Last year, Sunnybrae families helped to assist over 191 families in the Innisfil and Barrie areas. This year, Christmas 4 Kids has approximately 300 families with 650 kids in need. Kindly send in your canned and/or packaged goods by Friday, December 15th. Thank you in advance.

Tuesday December 19th @ 1:50 (Performances will be from the following classes: Speare, Lee, Kell, Johnstone, Grimes, Thompson, Dennis, Lamore)
